About you:

  • Hold a law degree or legal executive qualification;
  • 2 years + legal office experience;
  • Some practical experience in conveyancing and litigation is an advantage
  • Familiarity with LEAP case management will be an advantage;
  • Excellent communication skills, and a team-player;
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills;
  • The ability to contribute positively and to work on your own initiative;
  • Desire to work in and learn about all aspects of a general practice, and a particular interest in conveyancing.

About the Role:

  • Greeting visitors, taking incoming phone-calls, while dealing with queries from clients and colleagues promptly and in a polite and professional manner;
  • Collecting and taking post to the DX;
  • Opening correspondence, scanning it and uploading it to LEAP;
  • Supporting the partners in their work as requested;
  • Drafting correspondence, pleadings and other documentation;
  • Preparing court booklets and briefs for counsel;
  • Writing legal articles and social media posts;
  • Running your own files, depending on experience;
  • Other secretarial, administrative and ad hoc tasks as requested, such as attending on counsel, lodging papers at the Four Courts or sending registered post;
